New Insights Into Power-Generating Wndo
Jan Willem Wiegrnan,a Applied Physics Master's student at TU Delft has researched into power-generating windows.He calculates how much (A) e can be generated using so-called luminescent solar concentrators.These are windows which have been fitted with a thin film of material that absorbs (B) s and directs it to narrow solar cells at the perimeter of the window.Wiegman shows the relationship between the color of the material used and the maximum (C) a of power that can be generated.Such power-generating windows offer potential as a cheap (1) s of solar energy.
