Some people might wonder how Chinese philosophical thinking can be furthered using Western philosophical narratives;I consider Richard Shusterman's "somaesthetics" to be an example of just this.His somaesthetics shows how Chinese philosophical ideas might be constructed against a modem philosophical background through both Chinese and Western philosophical narratives,and how it is possible for Chinese philosophy to dialogue with the analytic tradition.
