Social insurance for occupational diseases
Occupational diseases refer to the diseases caused by occupational risk factors m general.In most countries such diseases are defined by law which usually is closely related to the degree of socio-economic development.In China,the Ministry of Health published a regulation about occupational diseases in 1957.In this regulation,14 diseases were defined legally as occupational diseases.The regulation was modified in 1987,and the legally defined diseases have been increased to 9 categories and 102 items ”1”.The regulation was modified again in 2002,and the legally defined diseases have been expanded to 10 categories and 115 items ”2”.
