Internet Literature in China,written by Michel Hockx is the first comprehensive work about this issue published in English.Before that,Jin Feng from Grinnell College had published Romancing the Internet:Producing and Consuming Chinese Web Romance (Leiden:Brill,2013),which focused on online romance fictions and their social influence among fans.Before these two book-length efforts,internet literature as a newly emerged cultural phenomenon received little attention from academia,but now with its rapid growth and huge influence on modern culture,it has already become one of the hottest topics at present.
