张老师好，我对《新概念英语》第三册第9课课文Flying Cat中的“One of the things that fascinates us most about cats is the popular belief that they have nine lives”这句话有疑问。这个句子里第一个that引导的定语从句中，动词fascinates为什么用单数呢？我认为这个定语从句修饰的应该是things，从句谓语动词不应该用复数吗？是不是以后遇到one of 。。。后面有定语从句时，从句谓语动词都要用单数形式呢？麻烦张老师解答一下，谢谢！
