”systemic functional linguistics系统功能语言学”Systemic functional linguistics (SFL) is a model for linguistic analysis developed by Michael Halliday.It is systemic because it describes language as a network of systems,a system being ”a small fixed set of choices”.It also describes the conditions for choosing among each set of choices.For example,in the verb system in English the speaker has a choice between using a finite or nonfinite verb;the non-finite choice,in turn,allows a choice between infinitives and participles.
