The Defects in Translating Tang Poetry into English

@@ Occasionally,browsing in a bnokstore,I came upon a small volume with the title”Tang Shi San Bai Shou”,which translates as”Three Hundred Tang Poems”.Opening it,I was glad to see that,it was,in fact,a parallel text with an English translation following each poem.But to my surprise,the beautiful classical poems all turned into tasteless ones.Immediately,I felt that the essence of our poems wasn”t completely transmitted to western countries.
