China-ROK Relations in the New Situation:Challenges and Choices

After the end of the Cold War,China and the Republic of Korea(ROK)seized the opportunity to normalize their relations with a forward-looking and visionary outlook.Since the establishment of diplomatic ties 30 years ago,the bilateral relations have developed rapidly and comprehensively,leading to close economic ties and a strategic cooperative partnership.Under new circumstances,it is necessary for the two countries to make new efforts to plan and promote a future-oriented bilateral relationship that is both steady and sustainable.
