There is a dichotomy in the structure of cooperation in Chinas neighborhood.On the one hand,there is a multitude of economic cooperation architectures,while on the other hand,there is a lack of security architectures that conform to regional realities and meet the needs of all sides.1 The sustained growth of economic output and defense expenditures in the neighborhood is a vivid illustration.
