Fans will be seeing purple at the Olympics when athletes try to set records at this summer's Paris Games. In a move away from a more traditional red-brick clay color,an Olympic track is purple for the first time. "The look of the Games includes three colors for all the competition venues[地点]:blue,green and purple. We decided on this purple track with different tones[色调]:lighter for the track,darker for the service areas,and grey for the turns at the end of the bend," said Alain Blondel,the sports manager overseeing athletics events,"We had to work hard on the colors so that they came out in the best possible tones to highlight[强调;使醒目]the athletes.
