On May 17, during the 2023 Belt and Road Forum for Interconnected Land-Sea Development, a significant milestone was achieved with the establishment of the ILSTC Think Tank Association (referred to as the "Think Tank Association"). This association was jointly initiated by 48 Chinese and international think tanks to drive forward the development of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC).
