"I was astonished at my first sight of Yucheng Map of Chongqing Prefecture. I saw the fortresses, the gates, the ports and vessels, and merchants and porters. It feels just like a Chongqing version of Along the River During the Qingming Festival. At that very moment, I made my mind to paint all the ancient gates of Chongqing."
