On April 21st, A Centennial Ode to the Red Plum, a ballet drama from Chongqing, China, made its debut virtually in Julio Mario Santodomingo Theater in Colombia during the International Dance Season, as celebration for the 42nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Colombia. The performance was jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, Ministry of Culture of Colombia, Chinese Embassy in Colombia, Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, and Chongqing Ballet Theater. The show has been on for one week on end, bringing a distinctively oriental ballet feast to over 2 million people around the world.
